{"id":44190,"date":"2026-04-13T19:34:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T11:34:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=44190"},"modified":"2026-04-13T19:34:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T11:34:41","slug":"johor-must-refine-strategy-to-tackle-skilled-labour-outflows","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=44190","title":{"rendered":"Johor must refine strategy to tackle skilled labour outflows"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<div class=\"newsTextDataWrapInner\">\n<p>JOHOR BAHRU (April 12): Johor must refine its cross-border economic strategy and sharpen policy clarity to address the outflow of skilled labour ahead of the planned launch of the Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link early next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"newsTextDataWrapInner\">\n<p>Johor Economic, Tourism and Cultural Office (Jetco) Singapore executive chairman Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad said the RTS Link, which will connect Johor Bahru and Singapore, is set to boost cross-border mobility and could accelerate the migration of skilled workers from Johor to the city-state.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"newsTextDataWrapInner\">\n<p>\u201cPreviously, these workers had to wake as early as 4 am and endure congestion crossing the Johor Causeway by bus or motorcycle.
