Dyson has announced a gadget that many of us have probably bought on a whim. Here\u2019s a hint: It\u2019s made for our sunny and humid climate. <\/p>\n
Meet the new Hushjet Mini Cool<\/b>, the tech company\u2019s first take on a handheld fan. Instead of exposed blades and the usual high-pitched whine, it uses Dyson\u2019s HushJet air projection system, which first appeared in the Hushjet air purifier.<\/p>\n
For something this small, it has some fairly serious specifications. Dyson says it can push air at up to 25m\/s, which works out to about 89km\/h<\/b>. That\u2019s a lot of power, thanks to a brushless motor spinning at 65,000rpm<\/b>. What seems to be different from handheld fans in the market is that the the Hushjet Mini Cool is more focused on producing air that actually reaches you instead of dispersing immediately. It also shares the same iconic 38mm diameter <\/b>as the Dyson Supersonic r and Pencilvac vacuum and weighs at 212g<\/b>, which shouldn\u2019t be too difficult to carry around<\/p>\n
According to Dyson, there are five speed settings and a boost mode for hotter moments, along with up to six hours of battery life. It charges via USB-C and comes with a stand, so it can double up as a small desk fan when you\u2019re not holding it. <\/p>\n
The Dyson Hushjet Mini Cool comes in three finishes \u2013 Carnelian\/Sky, Ink\/Cobalt, and Stone\/Blush. It retails at $149<\/b> and the Ink\/Cobat along with Stone\/Blush colourways will be available at Dyson stores and dyson.com.sg from 28 April 2026<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
