Alfa Romeo marked its return to Singapore under a new dealer, Red Rock & Rosso Motor, with a special preview of the Junior Elettrica.<\/em><\/p>\n

Alfa Romeo has officially returned to Singapore under the auspices of a new dealer, Red Rock & Rosso Motor, and they celebrated the brand\u2019s comeback with a special preview of the Junior Elettrica, Alfa Romeo\u2019s first Cat A EV for Singapore.<\/p>\n

Alfa Romeo, along with fellow Stellantis Group brand Jeep, was previously represented by Capella Auto, a subsidiary of Komoco Motors. However, Komoco relinquished both brands in mid 2025, and Red Rock & Rosso stepped in shortly after to take over their distribution here, going on to set up a showroom facility at 43 Malan Road, nestled within Gillman Barracks.<\/p>\n

The Junior Elettrica is the first new model to be introduced since the takeover, and the car was specially previewed to the media on 9 April at the Red Rock & Rosso Experience Centre. The car is still officially pending final homologation here, with first deliveries set to begin in the second quarter of 2026.<\/p>\n

The Junior is Alfa Romeo\u2019s compact crossover offering, and the Elettrica version is also Alfa Romeo\u2019s first ever full electric vehicle. It will be the sole variant offered in Singapore for now, with Red Rock & Rosso having no plans to offer the petrol or mild hybrid versions of the Junior here.<\/p>\n

While the Junior Elettrica has a power output of 115kW\/154bhp and 260Nm of torque in other markets, for Singapore the horsepower has been reduced to 100kW\/134bhp to enable it to qualify for a Cat A COE. 0-100km\/h comes up in 9 seconds, while the 54kWh battery gives the car a range of 410km, and a max DC charging speed of 100kW.<\/p>\n

The Junior\u2019s compact dimensions, measuring in at 4,170mm long and 1,780mm wide, puts it up against the likes of the Volvo EX30 and Mini Aceman, both of which also have Cat A variants available. It also has to contend with a whole bunch of Chinese-branded competitors as well, with possibly the Zeekr X being the closest in terms of size and market positioning.<\/p>\n

The Junior\u2019s styling is dramatic, to say the least, with the distinctive grille taking pride of place up front. The grille is shaped in Alfa Romeo\u2019s iconic shield, \u2019leggenda scudetto\u2019 in Italian, design, and is emblazoned with the Alfa Romeo script, although customers can also opt for a different design incorporating elements of the Alfa Romeo logo at no extra cost.<\/p>\n

The grille is flanked by the \u20183+3\u2019 adaptive full LED matrix headlights, and they combine with the lower air intakes to give the Junior an unmistakable look up front.<\/p>\n

Further back, other unique design details include the hidden rear door handles, the laser-etched Alfa Romeo snake, or \u2018Biscione\u2019, on the C-pillar, and the sharp and abruptly cut-off rear end that evokes images of Alfa Romeo\u2019s past models.<\/p>\n

Inside, the Junior\u2019s interior blends modernity with style, and features a 10.25-inch infotainment display that\u2019s angled towards the driver, along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The vibe is contrasted with the dashboard that\u2019s trimmed in what Alfa Romeo calls Blue Scuba Shark, giving it a pop of colour in the cabin.<\/p>\n

That colour is also used on the seats, which are upholstered in RipStop fabric that supposedly offers excellent breathability and comfort, and features the Alfa Romeo \u2018Biscione\u2019 snake weaved into its design pattern.<\/p>\n

While the Junior is not officially available for sale just yet, Red Rock & Rosso has revealed the car\u2019s indicative pricing for Singapore. The Junior Elettrica is priced at $103,888 without COE, while there is also a Stile Duo Tone variant that costs $5,000 more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, the first 20 units of each will be offered at a specially discounted price of $82,888 and $87,888 respectively, both without COE. At current COE premiums, that puts the Junior\u2019s on the road price at slightly above $200,000, making it a highly competitive offering in the market vis-a-vis its rivals.<\/p>\n
