See below for the update.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><i>This article was first published on 25 March 2026. 10 April 2026 update: Both phones are now available and we\u2019ve updated with its launch promotions below.<\/i><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"samung-galaxy-a57-5g-and-galaxy-a37-5g-are-now-available\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Samung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are now available<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Samsung has announced its 2026 mid-range and entry-level mobile phones for the Singapore market: <b>Galaxy A57 5G<\/b> and <b>Galaxy A37 5G<\/b>, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Samsung\u2019s Galaxy A-series phones are the company\u2019s mass-market, affordable alternatives to its premium Galaxy S-series phones (like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra we reviewed).<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">According to Samsung, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are getting up to <b>six generations of operating system and long-term security support<\/b>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">It doesn\u2019t sound like much if they were less-intelligent phones, but the 2026 Galaxy A-series handsets are getting Galaxy AI features and tools, which are largely reliant on software optimisations or OS updates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Right out of the box, both phones carry their latest <b>One UI 8.5<\/b>. That gives access to Galaxy AI tools like:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"_listElement_wioo3_107\">\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Voice Transcription<\/b> (for meetings, call recordings, etc.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>AI Select<\/b> (with drag and drop) <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Object Eraser<\/b> (for photo editing) <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Best Face<\/b> (for selfies) Filters (first <u>debuted in the Galaxy S25 series<\/u>) <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Edit Suggestions<\/b> (photo editing based on computational metrics) <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Circle to Search<\/b> with Google <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\">Google <b>Gemini <\/b>built-in <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Upgraded Bixby<\/b> with natural language support (similar to Galaxy S26 series) <\/li>\n<li class=\"_listItem_wioo3_112\"><b>Auto Trim <\/b>for Galaxy A57 5G (automatic video snippet editing)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Also, Samsung didn\u2019t forget to give hardware upgrades to both devices.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"hardware-to-keep-up-with-your-software\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Hardware to keep up with your software<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Both the Galaxy A57 5G and the Galaxy A37 5G have<b> triple rear cameras<\/b>, with a 50MP, f\/1.8 aperture main camera. On paper, it\u2019s similar to previous models, but the 2026 ones have an improved image signalling processor (ISP), which also upgrades the phones\u2019 <b>Nightography<\/b> (low-light shooting) capabilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Both are supported by AI-based subject recognition and scene optimisation, so it matters not if you\u2019re shooting portraits, group photos, landscape views, or others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The supporting rear cameras are an ultrawide shooter (12MP, f\/2.2 on Galaxy A57 5G and 8MP, f\/2.2 on Galaxy A37 5G) and a 5MP macro camera (f\/2.4) for close-ups.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Galaxy A57 5G\u2019s photo-taking gets extra detail sharpening and noise reduction, which helps with accurate photo-taking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Both phones pack a <b>5,000mAh<\/b> battery and <b>45W wired charging<\/b>, which is on par with some Galaxy S devices (since the <u>Galaxy S26 Ultra<\/u> is the first Samsung premium phone to hit 60W).<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">They also use the same Super AMOLED display with the same size (6.7 inches), resolution (FHD+), and peak refresh rate (120Hz).
