In recent years, the popular beach enclave of Canggu has become Bali\u2019s trendiest spot, dethroning places such as Ubud and Seminyak as the island\u2019s most popular destination, at least if social media is any indication.<\/p>\n

A former fishing village, Canggu offers beautiful black-sand beaches, a lively night scene and cute independent boutiques, not to mention a Sunday market that\u2019s hands down one of the best in Southeast Asia. The town \u2013 which attracts an eclectic crowd of surfers, digital nomads, fitness influencers and crypto bros \u2013 is now also home to a five-star hotel worthy of its name.<\/p>\n

Late last year, after being acquired by IHG Hotels & Resorts in 2018, Regent Hotels & Resorts made its debut in Indonesia with Regent Bali Canggu. Located right on the beach and offering unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean, the resort is a welcome addition to Canggu\u2019s hospitality scene.<\/p>\n

Regent Bali Canggu offers all you\u2019d expect from a luxury resort<\/span> \u2013 stunning pools, a lavish spa and world-class dining \u2013 but what makes it truly special is its attentive staff, who are always ready to help and bend over backwards to cater to all your needs.<\/div>\n

Even though it is located right in the middle of all the action, Regent Bali Canggu stands out for the level of privacy it provides. If you\u2019re staying in one of its 150 elegant suites and villas, you will hardly notice the hordes of surfers hitting the shore during the day and beachgoers taking selfies at sunset.<\/p>\n

Beach House \u2013 the property\u2019s waterfront restaurant and bar that\u2019s always buzzing with in-house and outside guests \u2013 is a great spot for those who want to see and be seen. If you\u2019re into people watching, order a drink from one of the lounge sofas overlooking the sea before indulging in grilled meats and seafood or tasty tacos on Taco Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Those whose idea of a good time is total relaxation, however, needn\u2019t worry. The hotel\u2019s secluded living quarters are quiet sanctuaries with garden or sea views and easy access to one of its nine pools. The property offers plenty of lavish accommodation, from one-bedroom beachfront villas to sprawling two-bedroom penthouses with private pools. Even the entry-level studio suites are spacious and luxurious, with large bathrooms and Balinese-inspired furniture made of natural materials such as teak.<\/p>\n
