In the show, renowned local composers Lee Wei Song and Lee Si Song look back at seminal moments in their careers, from composing iconic theme songs for television to writing hits for superstars like Jacky Cheung and Sandy Lam.<\/p>\n

For Wei Song, \u201cmusic has always been a language without borders. It can resonate with people, evoke memories and accompany us through the joys and sorrows of life.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Reflecting on music-making, he told us: \u201cSimply put, music is emotion, and composing is turning those emotions into a song to convey them.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I hear others sing my songs, especially different singers performing them, I feel very gratified,\u201d Si Song said. \u201cIf a song becomes a hit, I feel that all the effort I put into it was worthwhile. When my work is heard by more people, even appreciated and recognised by overseas audiences, it\u2019s even more exciting.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cIt feels like I’m not just representing myself, but also bringing Singaporean music to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
