A 31-year-old man was taken unconscious to the hospital following an accident at Defu on Monday (March 30).<\/p>\n

Responding to queries from AsiaOne, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force said they were alerted to an accident involving a motorcycle and a tipper truck along Defu Avenue 1 towards Hougang Avenue 7 at about 6.20pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old male <\/strong>motorcyclist was taken unconscious to Changi General Hospital, while the 41-year-old male tipper truck driver is assisting with investigations, said the police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A photo of the post-accident scene, shared by a Shin Min Daily News reader, shows paramedics tending to a person lying on the road, with what appears to be a fallen safety pole beside them.<\/p>\n

The motorcyclist is currently conscious and in stable condition, according to The Straits Times.<\/p>\n

Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n
