My buildings aren&#8217;t really aesthetically pleasing and sometimes I patch holes in roads with whatever I have on me, even if it doesn&#8217;t match. But iffy as my sense of taste may be, at least I am not actively causing a second apocalypse to befall the world of Pokopia, like one player is doing by sucking up the entire ocean and destroying all the land in Bleak Beach.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">I first saw this person&#8217;s handiwork a few days ago in the following Reddit post: <\/p>\n<style><![CDATA[.reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; }]]><\/style>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">What you are looking at there is Bleak Beach, sans ocean. I did not even know it was possible to guzzle down the ocean. Ditto can slurp up water, it&#8217;s true, but I sort of just assumed that unless you blocked off smaller patches of water, it would just keep refilling. How wrong I was!<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">In the replies, original poster u\/Mindycane says this &#8220;only took 6 hours or so&#8221; (only!). When asked why, they said &#8220;underwater citadel,&#8221; referring back to other posts of them building a massive castle fortress (above sea level) in Withering Wasteland, and that the ocean was &#8220;in the way. I&#8217;ll put it back later.&#8221; Okay, sure, I buy that. Their Wasteland build is pretty impressive:<\/p>\n<style><![CDATA[.reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; }]]><\/style>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">However, in another post, someone quipped that Mindycane was making the existing, plot-relevant apocalypse in Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia &#8220;worse,&#8221; to which they replied, &#8220;If you think that&#8217;s bad you should see what I&#8217;m gonna do to rocky ridge.&#8221; Another post reads, &#8220;the lava ocean goes in Rocky Ridge.&#8221; Uhhhhhhh.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">On that ominous note, I&#8217;m was trusting Mindycane about this &#8220;underwater citadel&#8221; they are allegedly building, until I saw this today:<\/p>\n<style><![CDATA[.reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; }]]><\/style>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\"><em>They also got rid of all the land.<\/em><\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Okay, not all the land. There&#8217;s a layer underneath everything that can&#8217;t be removed, and those platforms that remain are supporting plot-relevant structures, such as the lighthouse, the area gate, and Mosslax&#8217;s little shrine. They also appear to have voluntarily left the S.S. Anne where it is.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Again, I sort of buy what Mindycane is doing here. They clearly need more room for their underwater citadel and want to put it deeper underwater.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">But do they have to do it so&#8230; ominously?<\/p>\n<style><![CDATA[.reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; }]]><\/style>\n<style><![CDATA[.reddit-embed-wrapper iframe { margin-left: 0 !important; }]]><\/style>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Also&#8230; where are Mindycane&#8217;s Pok\u00e9mon? Multiple commenters have asked, only to be met with an ominous &#8220;\ud83d\ude08&#8221; emoji or &#8220;Oh I wouldn&#8217;t worry too much about them.&#8221; Reader, I am worried.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">This whole project has apparently taken Mindycane 25 hours so far, with more time expected for more digging and the build itself. At this point, I don&#8217;t know if I&#8217;m more concerned about the residents of Bleak Beach, or Mindycane themself.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Best of luck to Mindycane, <em>I guess<\/em>. I&#8217;m not sure who would be prouder, Team Aqua or Team Magma. I await the horrors you have prepared for Rocky Ridges with fear and trembling.<\/p>\n<p data-cy=\"paragraph\" class=\"paragraph jsx-2269604527\">Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia rules. I gave it a 9\/10, saying it&#8217;s &#8220;an enjoyable, personality-packed building simulator set in a surprisingly deep world that is stuffed with fun things for its delightful Ditto protagonist to do and create.&#8221; We have guides galore for this game in our Wiki and you should go look at them for absolutely any help you need&#8230; except maybe for help slurping up the entire ocean.
