To translate this investment into meaningful progress, a clear and disciplined strategy is essential.<\/p>\n
In the immediate term, the national team must benefit through regular exposure to top-level competition.<\/p>\n
Arranging friendlies against leading Asian sides such as Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Australia will better prepare our players for the intensity, technical quality and physical demands of continental football.<\/p>\n
Continuous improvement, not one-off success, should be the goal.<\/p>\n
At the same time, equal attention must be given to the women\u2019s game.<\/p>\n
The Women\u2019s Premier League has long lacked visibility and support. With stronger marketing, improved match-day experiences and greater fan engagement, it can grow into a competitive platform with the realistic ambition of Asian Cup qualification.<\/p>\n
More fundamentally, school football must form the cornerstone of long-term development, as it remains the birthplace of future national players. <\/p>\n
Strengthening inter-school competitions, investing in qualified coaches and creating clearer pathways to club and national levels will ensure a steady pipeline of talent.<\/p>\n
Beyond players, the wider ecosystem \u2013 including referees, coaches and sports science professionals \u2013 also needs sustained investment to raise overall standards.<\/p>\n
Finally, transparency and accountability will be crucial. Clear targets and measurable outcomes will assure stakeholders that this historic funding is being effectively utilised.<\/p>\n
The opportunity is here. Getting the strategy right will make all the difference.<\/p>\n
