{"id":40595,"date":"2026-03-31T08:45:40","date_gmt":"2026-03-31T00:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=40595"},"modified":"2026-03-31T08:45:40","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T00:45:40","slug":"fwd-singapore-sets-out-three-priority-growth-areas-for-10th-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=40595","title":{"rendered":"FWD Singapore sets out three priority growth areas for 10th year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Growth reflects a stronger contribution from advisers in weighted new business premiums.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/insuranceasia.com\/company\/fwd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FWD Singapore<\/a> is celebrating its 10th year and will prioritise three growth areas for 2026*.<\/p>\n<p>These growth areas are retirement and longevity planning for Millennials and Gen X, flexible critical illness solutions to counter medical inflation, and legacy planning for the growing high-net-worth and family office sector in Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>The insurer also said in its press release it reported profitable growth in 2025, highlighting changes driven by digital capabilities, expansion into advisory channels and a broader distribution strategy.<\/p>\n<p>A key shift came in 2020 when FWD increased its focus on the financial adviser segment, in response to growing demand for more comprehensive financial planning.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Data from the Life Insurance Association showed that financial adviser representatives accounted for 35.7% of total weighted new business premiums in 2025, up from 29% in 2021, making it the largest distribution channel for a second consecutive year.<\/p>\n<p>FWD said its early investments in advisory tools, including digital adviser journeys, automated underwriting and API integrations, have supported its ability to scale.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The company now works with 40 financial advisory partners and two bancassurance partners.
