It’s called the Model Y L, and it stands out from the rest of the range by having a third row of seats.

Keen readers would probably have guessed by now that the “L” in Model Y L stands for “long wheelbase”. Indeed, this car’s wheelbase has been stretched by 150mm. Overall length is now just shy of 5m – 4.969m to be exact.

The styling hasn’t changed much. In fact, if you don’t look closely, you might not even realise you are looking at a Model Y with three rows of seats. The visual giveaways are the integrated rear spoiler and the slightly longer three-quarters panel. Customers can also spec their Model Y L with the variant-exclusive Cosmic Silver paint.

The Model Y L appears to be a strict 6-seater.
