In a strange quirk of scheduling, They Will Kill You<\/em> opens in the same week as Ready or Not 2: Here I Come<\/em><\/span>.<\/em> Both are films about estranged sisters reunited and fighting for their lives as they are hunted by a group of murderous perpetrators looking to make a satanic sacrifice.<\/div>\n

Without a doubt, They Will Kill You<\/em> is bloodier and funnier, easily leaving its rival in the dust.<\/p>\n

Zazie Beetz stars as Asia Reaves, an ex-con with a bleak past. After shooting her abusive father dead and fleeing the scene \u2013 leaving her younger sibling, Maria, behind \u2013 she is eventually caught and imprisoned.<\/p>\n

Ten years later, she goes in search of Maria \u2013 a journey that takes her to The Virgil, an exclusive Manhattan luxury residence. Posing as a new housemaid, Asia infiltrates the building to find her sister.<\/p>\n

Shown around by the head of the co-op, Lily (Patricia Arquette), Asia soon discovers The Virgil is a temple of satanic worship, a multi-floored, vice-filled world for residents who have traded their souls for immortality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
