Available here since 16 March 2026, the Music Studio 5 is made for someone who cares about how their speaker looks on a shelf just as much as how it performs. The tech giant has collaborated with French designer Erwan Bouroullec on this, and the result is what it calls a minimalist “Dot Design”. When I saw it at CES 2026, I thought it looks more like a decorative piece than a traditional speaker.

Of course, the Music Studio 5 isn’t just about looks. It packs a 4-inch woofer with dual front-firing tweeters and waveguides tuned by Samsung’s Audio Lab. Dolby Atmos support is included as well, though realistically, how much of that spatial effect you will feel from a single compact unit is something I’ll have to hear for myself.

And like most of Samsung’s recent launches, there is a strong push to cram in AI features. Features like AI Adaptive Sound and SpaceFit Sound Pro automatically tweak audio based on what you are listening to and the room you are in, while AI Dynamic Bass Control attempts to keep low-end distortion in check. In theory these sound really useful, but again, I’ll have to hear it for myself.

Finally, the Music Studio 5 supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming, works with SmartThings, and can pair with compatible Samsung TVs via Q-Symphony. You can also link up two units for stereo sound or group multiple speakers together for a multi-room setup.

The Samsung Music Studio 5 is now available in Singapore via the Samsung Online Store, Shop App, and official stores on Shopee and Lazada. It is priced at $349, with a two-speaker bundle going for $659.

In a market already packed with wireless speakers, Samsung’s new Music Studio 5 is trying to carve out space in a slightly different way –…

[32
13362,2199,469,294,6913,2770
post-38742","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-tech-gadgets-reviews","tag-blend","tag-built","tag-home","tag-music","tag-samsungs","tag-studio","wpcat-32-id
["GET
