{"id":37868,"date":"2026-03-20T16:00:36","date_gmt":"2026-03-20T08:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=37868"},"modified":"2026-03-20T16:00:36","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T08:00:36","slug":"two-taken-to-hospital-after-accident-in-lim-chu-kang-leaves-driver-trapped-in-van","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=37868","title":{"rendered":"Two taken to hospital after accident in Lim Chu Kang leaves driver trapped in van"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 <!-- -->Two people were taken to hospital after a road accident in Lim Chu Kang left a driver trapped in a van on March 18.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said on March 19 they were alerted to the accident involving a car and van on Neo Tiew Road in Lim Chu Kang towards Lim Chu Kang Road at about 11.45am the day before.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A person was found trapped in the driver\u2019s seat of the van and rescued with the use of hydraulic rescue equipment, said the SCDF.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A video uploaded on the Singapore Incidents Facebook group shows a van and a car facing opposite directions on the side of a road after a collision.
