Accessible Facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hong Kong International Airport<\/strong> moved up to No 4 globally, and received the much coveted award for the World\u2019s Best Airport Washrooms and also collected the award for the World\u2019s Best Airport Security Processing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>London\u2019s Heathrow Airport<\/strong>\u00a0received a major award for the Worlds \u2018s Best Airport Shopping.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chubu Centrair International Airport<\/strong>, Nagoya, was a repeat winner of the World\u2019s Best Regional Airport award, and the Best Regional Airport in Asia title.<\/p>\n<p>Another success in Japan was for\u00a0<strong>Aso Kumamoto Airport<\/strong>\u00a0that received the award as the World\u2019s Best New Airport Terminal.<\/p>\n<p>Riyadh\u2019s\u00a0<strong>King Khalid International Airport<\/strong>\u00a0collected the award as the World\u2019s Most Improved Airport with an impressive global rating improvement on previous years, and reflecting the recent opening of their newly upgraded international Terminal 2.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paris CDG Airport<\/strong>\u00a0enjoyed success winning the awards as the Best Airport in Europe for a fourth successive year, and their sister airport\u00a0<strong>Paris Orly Airport<\/strong>\u00a0took the top award as the Best Regional Airport in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Japan\u2019s\u00a0<strong>New Chitose Airport<\/strong>\u00a0in Hokkaido won a major award as the World\u2019s Cleanest Airport (for up to 30 million passengers).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Terminal 2 at Kansai International Airport<\/strong>\u00a0replicated some earlier year success, winning the award for the World\u2019s Best Low-Cost Terminal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport<\/strong>\u00a0enjoyed a repeat success in the 2026 event, by winning a top award for the World\u2019s Best Airport Baggage Delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Houston Airport System<\/strong>\u00a0remains a dominant force by winning the award for the World\u2019s Best Airport Art for the fourth successive year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rome Fiumicino Airport<\/strong>\u00a0is named the Best Airport in Southern Europe,\u00a0<strong>Helsinki Vantaa Airport<\/strong>\u00a0the Best Airport in Northern Europe, and\u00a0<strong>Budapest Airport<\/strong>\u00a0again wins the Best Airport in Eastern Europe title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Munich Airport<\/strong>\u00a0was successful at the awards, winning the Awards for the Best Airport Staff in Europe, and as the Best Airport in Central Europe.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cape Town Airport\u00a0<\/strong>is the major award winner in Africa, receiving two awards \u2013 as the Best Airport in Africa and Best Airport Staff Service in Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Delhi International Airport\u00a0<\/strong>wins the award as the Best Airport in India &amp; South Asia, and\u00a0<strong>Hyderabad Airport<\/strong>\u00a0received the award for Best Airport Staff Service in India &amp; South Asia.\u00a0<strong>Bangalore Airport<\/strong>\u00a0collected the award for the Best Regional Airport in India &amp; South Asia.<\/p>\n<p>In the Best Airport Hotel categories,\u00a0<strong>Crowne Plaza Changi Airport<\/strong>\u00a0collected the award as the World\u2019s Best Airport Hotel and the Best Airport Hotel in Asia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grand Hyatt at SFO<\/strong>\u00a0received the award as the Best Airport Hotel in North America for the second time, and\u00a0<strong>Hilton Munich Airport<\/strong>\u00a0received the Best Airport Hotel in Europe award.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Pullman Brisbane Airport\u00a0<\/strong>won the award as the Best Airport Hotel in Australia &amp; We thank the aviation community for its understanding.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h3><strong>THE WORLD AIRPORT AWARDS<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The World Airport Awards are prestigious accolades for the airport industry, voted by customers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey.<\/p>\n<p>Operating since 1999, the World Airport Awards are independent and impartial, and provide a customer satisfaction study that is global in scope and coverage. They are regarded as a quality benchmark for the world airport industry, assessing customer service and facilities across over 575 airports. The survey and awards process is provided to airports at no cost.<\/p>\n<p>The Awards are based on the World Airport Survey questionnaires completed by over 100 nationalities of airport customers during the survey period, which operated from August 2025 to February 2026.
