{"id":36415,"date":"2026-03-15T13:29:35","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T05:29:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=36415"},"modified":"2026-03-15T13:29:35","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T05:29:35","slug":"isnt-the-first-time-serangoon-laundromat-customer-alleges-man-stole-washed-clothes-singapore-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=36415","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Isn&#8217;t the first time&#8217;: Serangoon laundromat customer alleges man stole washed clothes, Singapore News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>An upset laundromat customer filed a police report after an elderly man allegedly stole their clothes from a Sparklewash laundromat.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened on March 12 at about 1.40am at 324 Serangoon Avenue 3.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In CCTV footage shared on Instagram page sgfollowsall on Friday (March 13), the elderly man is seen wheeling an empty trolley over to four washing machines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He looks around before opening one of the machines and slowly pulling out all the clothes, piling them onto his trolley.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVz7pubDPt5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVz7pubDPt5\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He then quickly wheels his loot away, leaving the washing machine door ajar.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The customer whose clothes were &#8216;stolen&#8217; said that this is not the first time the man has done so.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Seems that he is always loitering [near the laundromat] between 1am and 3am to see if there is anyone or any laundry there,&#8221; they shared.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If anyone knows this man, could you ask them to contact me?
