Notably, Sonos has addressed questions of long-term sustainability by making the battery user-replaceable, a move intended to extend the product\u2019s lifespan within the system. It also introduces \u201cBluetooth Grouping,\u201d allowing users to sync multiple portable speakers directly via Bluetooth when away from home Wi-Fi.\u00a0On the subject of\u00a0connectivity, it also supports Apple AirPlay 2.<\/p>\n From a product naming perspective, the Sonos Play name is a clear callback to the brand\u2019s original Play:1, Play:3, and Play:5 lineup that established the company\u2019s reputation. He noted that the company has shifted to a more methodical update process, including the use of beta channels and opt-in experiences.
