The IT Show is back. It\u2019s the first major tech show of the year, and it\u2019s happening right now at Suntec Convention Centre, levels 3 and 4. If you are looking for a laptop, router, or simply need additional storage for your systems and devices, this is the place to be, and this is the article you want to read. As usual, there are loads to see, and there are deals to be found if you look hard enough. To save you the trouble and hassle, I was at Suntec the moment the show opened to help you scour the best deals. Here\u2019s what I found.<\/p>\n

The IT Show is happening now at Suntec Convention Centre from 12 March to 15 March<\/b>. Level 3 opens at 11am, while Level 4 opens at 12pm. Both levels close at 9pm. It weighs just 990g, thanks to a magnesium alloy body. The 14-inch display uses an OLED panel and has a resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels. It\u2019s powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V processor, and comes with 32GB of memory, and a 1TB SSD. It also features Intel Killer WiFi. It\u2019s going for S$2,499<\/b> (U.P. S$2,799) and comes with a USB Type-C charger.<\/p>\n You can find it at the Challenger booth (305)<\/b> on Level 3.<\/p>\n The Apple MacBook Neo. <\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The incredibly capable and affordable MacBook Neo is available at the show. Unfortunately, there are no discounts to be had. However, you can get up to S$40 off if you pay with SPayLater. It\u2019s a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router, and it supports data transfer rates of up to 1,376Mbps on its 2.4GHz band and 5,764Mbps on its 5GHz band. ASUS claims it can offer up to 2,750 sq. ft. of coverage, which means it should suffice for most apartments. One great thing about it is that it has a 2.5G WAN port and four 2.5G LAN ports. It has a 14-inch Full-HD display and is powered by the Intel Core i5-13420H processor. It comes with 16GB of memory and a 512GB SSD. These are decent specs for the price, which is $699<\/b> (U.P. S$899).<\/p>\n You can find it at the Challenger booth (305)<\/b> on Level 3.<\/p>\n The eero Max 7.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n I\u2019ve tested many mesh networking systems, and eero is one of the easiest and quickest to set up and get running. The Max 7 is their flagship system. It\u2019s a tri-band system that supports Wi-Fi 7 and wireless speeds of up to 4.3Gbps. It also has two 10G ports and another two 2.5G ports. A single pack is going for S$559.99<\/b> (U.P. S$799.99), while a three-pack is S$1,434.99<\/b> (U.P. It has a 14-inch WUXGA OLED display, and it\u2019s powered by AMD\u2019s new Ryzen AI 7 445 processor, which has an AMD Radeon 840M integrated GPU. It also has 24GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. It\u2019s going for S$1,899<\/b>, and comes with a free Yoga tote sleeve and Yoga pen.<\/p>\n You can find it at the Challenger booth (305)<\/b> on Level 3.<\/p>\n Kloxia Exceria Pro G2.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n This is Kloxia\u2019s flagship M.2 SSD for consumers. It supports PCIe 5.0 and comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB capacities. The maximum sequential read and write speeds are 14,900MB\/s and 13,700MB\/s respectively. The 1TB version is S$309<\/b> (U.P. S$355), the 2TB version is S$575<\/b> (U.P. S$625), and finally, the 4TB version is S$989<\/b> (U.P. S$1,098).<\/p>\n You can find it at the Kloxia booth (8304)<\/b>, DreamCore booth (8701)<\/b>, and 12Buy.sg booth (8509<\/b>) on Level 4.<\/p>\n LG gram 14.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The gram 14 is one of the lightest laptops you\u2019ll find at the show. Weighing just 1.12kg, it has a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. It\u2019s powered by the Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor with 16GB of memory and 512GB SSD. It has a 72Wh battery, and the claimed battery life is up to 30 hours. It\u2019s going for S$1,699<\/b> (U.P. S$1,999).<\/p>\n You can find it at the Best Denki booth (8105)<\/b> on Level 4.<\/p>\n Microsoft Surface Pro (7th edition).<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Those looking for a convertible laptop should definitely check out the Surface Pro. It\u2019s equally adept at being a tablet and a conventional laptop. The 12-inch PixelSense display has a high resolution of 2196 x 1464 pixels, and it\u2019s powered by Qualcomm\u2019s Snapdragon X Plus chip with 16GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. It\u2019s going for S$1,798<\/b> (U.P. S$2,247). This router delivers speeds of up to 700Mbps on its 2.4GHz band, 2,900Mbps on its 5GHz band, and up to 5,800Mbps on its 6GHz band. It also has a single 2.5G WAN port, two 2.5G LAN ports, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports. It\u2019s going for S$299<\/b> (U.P. S$549). <\/p>\n You can find it at the Netgear booth (8001<\/b>) on Level 4. <\/p>\n TP-Link Archer BE450.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n One of the best bang-for-buck routers I found at the show was the Archer BE450 from TP-Link. This is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router that delivers speeds of up to 1,376Mbps on its 2.4GHz band and 5,765Mbps on its 5GHz band. But most of all, it features a single 10Gbps WAN port, which lets users take advantage of their fast 10Gbps plan. It also has a single 2.5G LAN port and three Gigabit Ethernet ports. It\u2019s going for S$199<\/b>.<\/p>\n You can find it at the Challenger booth (307)<\/b> on Level 3.<\/p>\n WD My Passport.<\/p>\n Photo: HWZ<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The WD My Passport is an external portable HDD that supports a transfer rate of up to 5Gbps and is available in capacities of up to 6TB. It also comes in four colours: Black, Sky, Red, and White. The 1TB version is S$99<\/b> (U.P. S$125), the 2TB version is S$125<\/b> (U.P. S$149), the 4TB version is S$189<\/b> (U.P.
