The cause of the fire is under investigation, it added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In a Facebook post<!-- --> at 2.45pm, Tower Transit<!-- --> said its <!-- -->bus <!-- -->service 853 towards Yishun Interchange will be diverted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">It added that three bus stops will be skipped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SBS Transit also said in <!-- -->posts on X<!-- --> at about 3pm and <!-- -->4pm<!-- --> that bus services<!-- --> 22, 24, 144, 145 and 159, 851e were diverted from Ang Mo Kio Avenues 1, 3 and 8.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">It added that eight bus stops were skipped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">There were a total of 226 vehicle fires in 2025, down from 257 in 2024, according to SCDF figures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In 2025, there were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/more-fire-injuries-and-ev-blazes-in-2025-nearly-half-of-emergency-calls-involved-seniors-scdf?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">four electric vehicle (EV) fires<\/p>\n<p><\/a>, an increase from one case the year before.
