{"id":33429,"date":"2026-03-04T13:38:41","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T05:38:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=33429"},"modified":"2026-03-04T13:38:41","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T05:38:41","slug":"etihad-airways-releases-tickets-for-flights-to-singapore-from-mar-5-amid-middle-east-conflict","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=33429","title":{"rendered":"Etihad Airways releases tickets for flights to Singapore from Mar 5 amid Middle East conflict"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>SINGAPORE: UAE carrier Etihad Airways has released tickets for flights from Abu Dhabi to Singapore starting Thursday (Mar 5), as passenger services between the UAE and Singapore gradually resume since the regional airspace was closed amid the Middle East conflict.<\/p>\n<p><span>The Singapore Embassy in Abu Dhabi advised Singaporeans in the UAE to visit the airline\u2019s website immediately to secure seats, warning that demand is expected to be extremely high.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;We recommend visiting Etihad Airways website quickly and securing tickets if you wish to leave the country,&#8221; the embassy said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>\u201cBe prepared for high website traffic and potential delays in booking systems. Given the urgency and limited availability, we strongly encourage immediate action if you wish to secure seats,&#8221; it added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>\u201cIf you do secure tickets, please reconfirm with the airline that the flight will proceed before heading to the airport.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Given the current circumstances, Singaporeans should be ready for cancellations, frequent changes and delays, possibly at short notice, said the embassy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>\u201cIf you expressed interest for assisted departure during the recent survey, please let the embassy and Consulate-General know so that we can update the list,\u201d it added.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>Another Singapore-bound flight under UAE carrier Emirates is set to depart Dubai at 9pm local time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span>According to Changi Airport&#8217;s website, flight EK214 is scheduled arrive in Singapore at 8.30am on Thursday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In a notice on its website, Emirates said it continues to operate a limited number of passenger repatriation and freighter flights on Tuesday and Wednesday.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are accommodating customers with earlier bookings as a priority on these limited flights,&#8221; it said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Customers should not go to the airport unless they have been notified directly by Emirates or hold a confirmed booking for these flights, said the airline.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Customers are advised to check flight status, review the latest operational updates on emirates.com, and check their email for any notifications about changes or cancellations to their flights before travelling to the airport,&#8221; it added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Governments and airlines are scrambling to repatriate tens of thousands of travellers stranded in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Some Emirates flights took off Tuesday morning, according to the Flightradar24 flight tracking website, flying south out of the Gulf region.
