Several young anglers were caught fishing in a non-designated area at Sengkang Riverside Park on Feb 22.<\/p>\n
Stomper P<\/b><\/span> said the youths displayed “provocative” behaviour when he called them out.<\/p>\n P was passing by the park near Tenderbest, a Western food store, at around 4.50pm when he noticed three boys fishing at a spot where a ‘No Fishing’ sign was clearly displayed.<\/p>\n According to the Stomper, he and his companion pointed out the sign to the boys, but their advice was ignored.<\/p>\n “They made provocative gestures and refused to heed what we said,” he recounted.<\/p>\n Although he was unable to capture the “provocative” gestures on video, P said he did manage to film part of the encounter.<\/p>\n In the clip, the boys \u2013 who appeared to be in their teens \u2013 can be seen fishing in the waters, right next to the ‘No Fishing’ sign. A youth in a dark blue T-shirt is then seen walking away out of frame, as the two other youths continue fishing.<\/p>\n
