Samsung Singapore has announced that The Movingstyle<\/b>, a portable 27-inch touchscreen display designed to bring \u201cflexible viewing and interactive use\u201d into different parts of the home. The display is now open for pre-order, with general availability expected in Singapore from late March<\/b>.<\/p>\n
The Movingstyle is positioned around changing viewing habits, and blends elements typically associated with televisions, monitors and tablets. If this sounds a tad familiar, that\u2019s because LG introduced its StanbyME movable screens some four years earlier.<\/p>\n
What\u2019s unique here is that the display can be detached from its stand and used with an integrated kickstand that doubles as a carry handle \u2013 allowing you to move the screen easily between rooms. Alternatively, it can be placed on a rollable floor stand, supporting both portrait and landscape orientations for entertainment, work or casual browsing.<\/p>\n Photo: Samsung<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n To improve portability and for areas at home that are not close to a power socket, the Movingstyle includes a built-in rechargeable battery that is rated for up to three hours of use<\/b>. Samsung says in its press release that it has equipped the display with HDR10+<\/b>, Dolby Atmos<\/b> audio and Motion Xcelerator 120Hz support<\/b>. Unsurprisingly, Samsung Vision AI<\/b> is also integrated and claims to be able to \u201coptimise picture, sound and content recommendations\u201d based on usage patterns.<\/p>\n Powered by One UI Tizen<\/b>, the Movingstyle supports multiple user profiles, Samsung TV Plus streaming content and access to the Samsung Art Store.
