However, losing his Instagram account felt \u201csignificant\u201d, Mr Tan said, as it \u201cwasn\u2019t just a page\u201d but almost 12 years of his life.<\/p>\n
He had run his social media platforms himself, using them not just for communication, but \u201cconnection\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

He then listed out what the account was used for: \u201cconversations, disagreements, encouragement, banter, runs, fund-raising efforts, and celebrating so many everyday heroes\u201d, as well as bo liao<\/em> \u201cwhimsical nonsense\u201d.<\/p>\nHe thus admitted to \u201ca sense of loss\u201d, explaining:<\/p>\n
