{"id":30308,"date":"2026-02-21T16:06:45","date_gmt":"2026-02-21T08:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=30308"},"modified":"2026-02-21T16:06:45","modified_gmt":"2026-02-21T08:06:45","slug":"bmw-catches-fire-along-woodlands-avenue-5-no-injuries-reported-singapore-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=30308","title":{"rendered":"BMW catches fire along Woodlands Avenue 5, no injuries reported, Singapore News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A hood of a BMW car caught fire along Woodlands Avenue 5 on Friday (Feb 20).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In response to AsiaOne&#8217;s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SDCF) said it was alerted to the incident at about 9am.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The fire, which involved the engine compartment of a car, was extinguished using a water jet, SCDF added.<\/p>\n<p>No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>In a Facebook post by SGRV Front Man, photos of the incident show a black BMW parked on the left side of the road with its bonnet in flames.
