{"id":29737,"date":"2026-02-19T20:44:40","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T12:44:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=29737"},"modified":"2026-02-19T20:44:40","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T12:44:40","slug":"samsung-adds-desired-galaxy-ai-photo-editing-feature-for-upcoming-galaxy-s-handsets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=29737","title":{"rendered":"Samsung adds desired Galaxy AI photo editing feature for upcoming Galaxy S handsets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">As we get closer to the <u>February 2026 launch of the Samsung Galaxy S<\/u> series, Samsung is dropping more clues about what to expect from its flagship products.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"using-text-to-instruct-photo-edits\" class=\"_subHeading1_1k87u_111 _base_1k87u_1\">Using text to instruct photo edits<\/h2>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\"><u>As showcased in Samsung\u2019s official newsroom<\/u>, Galaxy AI now <b>enables text prompts <\/b>for <b>generative photo editing<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">This is a significant upgrade over the incumbent method, in which Galaxy AI photo edits were previously limited to poking and prodding on your phone\u2019s screen to remove elements from your photos (photobombers, spatially unaware passersby, and more).<\/p>\n<div class=\"_embedContainer_wioo3_16\">\n<div class=\"_container_1stzb_1\"><picture><source srcset=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi_webp\/EaRDKaLL4DY\/sddefault.webp\" type=\"image\/webp\"\/><source srcset=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/EaRDKaLL4DY\/hqdefault.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"_facade_1stzb_5\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/EaRDKaLL4DY\/hqdefault.jpg\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.5625\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/picture><button class=\"_playButton_1stzb_12\" type=\"button\"><span class=\"_playButtonText_1stzb_39\">Play<\/span><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">By introducing text as an editing tool, Galaxy AI users can now make additive edits to their photos. For example, they can request a colour change to a cake\u2019s icing or a complementary fork for a dessert spoon.<\/p>\n<div class=\"_embedContainer_wioo3_16\">\n<div class=\"_container_1stzb_1\"><picture><source srcset=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi_webp\/Yp6NdYwxNGk\/sddefault.webp\" type=\"image\/webp\"\/><source srcset=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/Yp6NdYwxNGk\/hqdefault.jpg\" type=\"image\/jpeg\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"_facade_1stzb_5\" src=\"https:\/\/i.ytimg.com\/vi\/Yp6NdYwxNGk\/hqdefault.jpg\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.5625\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/picture><button class=\"_playButton_1stzb_12\" type=\"button\"><span class=\"_playButtonText_1stzb_39\">Play<\/span><\/button><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Even its poking and prodding now welcomes sketches, where you can roughly draw your ideas into your existing photos, and Galaxy AI will make appropriate additions.
