The Bangkok property was built in 1978, and it was a Peninsula hotel before it was sold to Regent Hotels & Resorts in 1982. Following its 2001 acquisition by Minor Hotels, it was renamed as a Four Seasons in 2003, before its most recent name change, on March 1, 2015.<\/p>\n
While just as elegant and lush as the White Lotus resort featured in the HBO hit social satire series<\/span>, Anantara Siam Bangkok is much more relaxed \u2013 and that vibe carries through to the hotel\u2019s Parichart Court, which houses plants, trees and ponds, as well as the two-decade-old Aqua Bar.<\/div>\n
As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, the Aqua Bar is bringing back a quirky part of its heritage by building its new cocktail menu around the ducks that once roamed Parichart Court.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe guests would come back to Aqua because of the ducks,\u201d says Ryan Dela Vega, Aqua\u2019s beverage manager. \u201cBuilding a strong concept is not easy, but you need the right concept to suit a venue.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
