{"id":27427,"date":"2026-01-10T17:06:42","date_gmt":"2026-01-10T09:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=27427"},"modified":"2026-01-10T17:06:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-10T09:06:42","slug":"e-bike-rider-taken-to-hospital-after-accident-with-car-in-pasir-ris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=27427","title":{"rendered":"E-bike rider taken to hospital after accident with car in Pasir Ris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 A <!-- -->21-year-old man<!-- --> was taken to hospital and is assisting with police investigations after his power-assisted bicycle (PAB) was involved in an accident in Pasir Ris on<!-- --> Jan 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the incident involving a PAB and a car at the junction of Pasir Ris Street 52 and Pasir Ris Drive 3 at about 3.40pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The man was taken conscious to Changi General Hospital by SCDF and is assisting with ongoing police investigations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Photos of the aftermath of the accident\u00a0posted on a social media platform by a\u00a0Xiaohongshu\u00a0user show a white car on the right lane of the two-lane street, just after a junction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The PAB rider can be seen being attended to by at least four paramedics, with his bicycle on the ground next to him.
