WhatsApp has announced three new group chat features aimed at making conversations clearer, more personal, and more engaging. <\/p>\n
To add context within group chats, you can assign a custom tag<\/b> that describes your role.<\/b> For example, you could appear as \u201cJohn\u2019s Dad\u201d in a family group and \u201cTeacher\u201d in a school-related chat, helping others quickly understand who\u2019s who.<\/p>\n
This feature can be accessed by opening a group chat, tapping the group name, and scrolling to the members list, where you will find the \u201cAdd member tag\u201d option under your name.<\/p>\n
You can now turn any word into a sticker<\/b> by entering the text in Sticker Search<\/b>. Newly created stickers can also be saved directly to sticker packs<\/b> without needing to send them in a chat first.<\/p>\nEvent reminders<\/h2>\n
When you create and send an event in a group chat, you can set custom early reminders<\/b> for members. This helps ensure everyone stays informed and is on time.<\/p>\nAvailability<\/h2>\n
