At the start of 2025, a study revealed that 60 per cent of Americans saw non-alcoholic (NA) beer as a viable alternative for long-term drinking in moderation.<\/p>\n

That study was based on a poll commissioned by the Beer Institute, a Washington-based trade association.<\/p>\n

But what about \u200cjust for one month?<\/p>\n

For many of us, Dry January has begun \u2013 a month in which people attempt to forgo alcohol or drink less of it.<\/p>\n

People do it for different reasons. Some see the 30 days as a dependency test to determine just how reliant \u200dthey are on alcohol to relax. Others link it to their overall new-year health and\/or weight loss plans.<\/p>\n

For some, it is viewed as a reset following weeks of decadent holiday consumption. It is also a way to dip a toe into the idea of permanent sobriety \u2013 without drawing too much attention from their peer group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
