Some people are obsessed with getting as many trophies as possible. They will even play games they have no interest in just because the particular title has an easy-to-nab platinum trophy. A couple of them only take a few hours<\/strong>, while some of the more involved ones take more time but are still easy to obtain. While there are some mindless, cheaper games on the PlayStation Store, seemingly designed just to give people an easy platinum trophy on the PS5<\/strong>, most of the games are also big titles that will give players emotional fulfillment in addition to the trophy.<\/p>\n

While some people like slaving away for a Platinum trophy, it can wear on a player’s patience after a point because of the menial tasks involved in getting this achievement. As a result, there’s always an appeal to a short and sweet title that lets players unwind and rewards them with this treasured achievement in no time at all. It’s a simple pleasure that many PlayStation 5 gamers will enjoy for their own reasons.<\/p>\n

The game has a very simple gameplay loop: you have to jump between three lanes to match an auto-rolling ball with the right shape. The better you do, the more crystals you collect.<\/p>\n

On the easiest difficulty, each lane has a circular shape that matches the ball, so you can just let the game play itself and acquire the necessary crystals to unlock all the trophies, as none of them are tied to higher difficulty levels. In a minute or two, the Platinum will be yours. Simple.<\/p>\n

This game even allows players to simply hold down the jump button, making for perhaps the easiest platinum trophy to earn on the PS5.<\/p>\n

It is difficult to tell whether the developer released this game as a joke or if they knew they could make some easy cash from those who want to exploit the trophy system. Either way, it’s both funny and an unsatisfying way to earn a platinum.<\/p>\n

OK, this is the last “platinum” game we are going to discuss, as there really isn’t anything to say about any of these. Be A Bee<\/em> is another game that exists primarily so you can add a platinum trophy to your account (although a Switch version also exists), and you should be able to get it done in under 5 minutes. All you need to do is collect coins and flowers, which is very easily done.<\/p>\n

\n My Name Is Mayo: Remayo

Probably one of the most infamous short PlayStation games designed primarily to be an easy platinum<\/strong>, My Name Is Mayo<\/em><\/strong> originally debuted on the PS4, and that version is available to play on the PS5 as well. That said, if you are looking to get the optimal Mayo experience, you will want to pick up the Remayo<\/em><\/strong> remaster, which is available on both consoles.<\/p>\n

Although it is basically the same game, it comes with a few additions that make it a touch longer. However, Remayo<\/em> is still a very straightforward and short game with a platinum that can be obtained in less than an hour.<\/p>\n

Drowning <\/em>is an ambitious walking simulator that aims to show the impact of depression on a young man in his early school life. Unsurprisingly, it isn’t an enjoyable experience and requires four playthroughs to obtain the platinum trophy.<\/p>\n

Thankfully, that will only take most players up to an hour to achieve and 30 minutes for faster players. It is highly recommended that players follow a guide to attain the coveted platinum trophy in the game as quickly as possible. Some trophies are missable and can be overlooked without a guide to help.<\/p>\n

Peppa Pig is a character that every kid is familiar with at this point, with this surprisingly popular figure teaching children good values in a simple yet engaging manner. This character is bound to feature in a few games that children can enjoy even if they’re too young to tackle more complicated game mechanics.<\/p>\n

A bonus here is that the game can be completed in no time, with the Platinum trophy unlockable after just an hour and a half. This is nothing compared to the other titles that make players toil for ages to get this accolade.<\/p>\n
