A luxury lifestyle hotel brand from hospitality giant Hilton, NoMad, will make its APAC debut here after launching in London in 2021.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The 173-room hotel, which takes over the site of Faber House, promises to offer a refined yet eclectic approach to luxury hospitality, with a focus on sophisticated design, world-class dining, and immersive cultural programming.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">NoMad is known for its focus on art \u2014 expect local artwork featured in each room. The hotel also boasts an infinity pool overlooking Orchard Road, as well as a rooftop bar and restaurant. Built on the site of a former elementary school, the 89-room hotel is within walking distance of Kenninji, Kyoto\u2019s oldest Zen temple.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">The hotel, designed by Kengo Kuma and Associates and the Singapore-based Brewin Design Office, is inspired by Kyoto\u2019s machiya townhouses that are filled with moments for quiet contemplation.
