The company is launching pilot projects in Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“As water systems become more complex, cities worldwide will need solutions that anticipate change, not just react to it,” stated In-Won Chae, CEO of ECOPEACE. “Water resources across the globe are under mounting stress from pollution, rapid urban growth, and climate-driven algae outbreaks. Traditional responses are no longer sufficient.”

“Cities need efficient and smarter solutions that address the problems before they escalate,” he added. “We are pleased to support partners in Singapore and UAE as they advance modern water-management practices.”

Founded in 2012, ECOPEACE said it operates one of Korea’s most extensive portfolios of algae-removal systems. The Gwangju, South Korea-based company has deployed its technologies across the country and in international pilot programs addressing algae removal, surface-water purification, oil-film cleanup, and real-time environmental monitoring.

ECOPEACE uses AI to monitor, treat water

ECOPEACE’S technology includes the autonomous ECOBOT platform and a continuous, low-maintenance filtration system that pairs stainless-steel microfilters with electrochemical treatment. It said the system efficiently processes large volumes of polluted water while simultaneously filtering and backwashing to prevent fouling.

The company added that its artificial intelligence system uses real-time, multi-point data to automatically adjust treatment conditions and flow rates.

In recent years, ECOPEACE has provided its cleanup technology across major reservoirs, rivers, urban parks, and smart-city districts in Korea. The autonomous robots conduct algae removal, surface-water cleaning, and continuous water-quality monitoring.

ECOBOT helps cities get ahead of water contamination

ECOPEACE said it first new overseas initiative includes pilot and proof-of-concept projects in Singapore and the UAE. The company is testing ECOBOT’s effectiveness in urban waterways.

Last month, ECOPEACE set up a joint venture for its project in Singapore. It will combine the company’s technology expertise with local market and regulatory know-how to facilitate adoption and alignment with regional needs.

These projects are being carried out in collaboration with local public-sector and infrastructure partners. ECOPEACE is targeting cities that have actively invested in sustainable and smart urban development.

ECOPEACE described its strategy as “AI-powered intelligence,” a system that integrates autonomous robots, sensor networks, advanced filtration, and real-time analysis. Its goal is to enable cities and utilities to manage water conditions proactively, rather than reacting only after contamination or algae outbreaks occur.

The company plans to expand its presence across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions seeking modern, cost-effective water-management solutions. ECOPEACE said it wants to establish a standardized platform for autonomous water intelligence to support municipalities, industrial zones, and natural ecosystems.

ECOBOT can operate in lakes, rivers, and reservoirs to continuously monitor water quality. | Source: ECOPEACE ECOPEACE this week announced the global expansion of its…

[2611

post-25340","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-buzz-headlines","wpcat-2611-id
["GET
