data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The access closures at Marina Bay had started from around 8pm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In an update on Facebook at 11.12pm, the police said that they also closed two areas at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/sport\/singapore-sports-hub-undergoes-rebranding-now-known-as-the-kallang?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">The href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/road-closures-enhanced-security-for-new-year-festivities?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">road closures and enhanced security measures<\/p>\n<p><\/a> will be in place during the ONE Countdown 2026 across the island until the early hours of Jan 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Police, auxiliary police and security officers will be deployed to manage crowds in the vicinity of Marina Bay and The Kallang, with officers from the police land divisions, including emergency response teams, the Special Operations Command, Police Coast Guard and Traffic Police conducting enhanced patrols.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">As a number of\u00a0<a
