A supermoon looms on January 3, and an astronomical blue moon is on the books for May.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">The sun will also generate buzz with a <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">\u201cring of fire\u201d eclipse<\/span> at the bottom of the world in February and a total solar eclipse at the top of the world in August. Expect more auroras in unexpected places, though perhaps not as frequently as in the past couple of years.<\/div>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">And that comet that strayed into our turf from another star? While still visible with powerful backyard telescopes, the recently discovered comet known as <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\">3I\/ATLAS<\/span> is fading by the day after swinging past Earth in December. Jupiter is next on its dance card in March. Once the icy outsider departs our solar system a decade from now, it will be back where it belongs in interstellar space.<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">It is our third known interstellar visitor.
