Reports are flooding in that Fortnite<\/strong><\/em> is currently down. Fortnite<\/em> players have taken to social media to share their complaints, with reports pouring in from all over.<\/p>\n

The Christmas holiday is a great time for many gamers, as most get time off from school or work that they can dedicate to playing games. However, outages can be a serious problem during the holiday as well, with major outages impacting players, like Steam going down on Christmas Eve.<\/p>\n

\n Fortnite is Down on Christmas Eve

Unfortunately, Christmas Eve has seen problems for gamers outside of Steam as well, as players are reporting that they can’t access Fortnite<\/em>. According to Down Detector, it looks like the game started getting widespread reports of being down starting at about 5 PM PT, reaching 25,000 reports at one point. <\/p>\n

This outage has been acknowledged by Epic Games as of about 6 PM PT, which says that the game is a “major outage” specifically for logging in. According to Epic, the issue also extends to Rocket League<\/em> and Fall Guys<\/em>. The developers are currently working on a fix, but there’s no indication as to when these games will be back up and running.<\/p>\n
