Fortnite<\/em> is a game that doesn’t require its players to pay in order to fully enjoy it. Save the World is the only paid game mode in Fortnite<\/em>; everything else that players will have to pay for is strictly cosmetic. Epic Games also makes it possible for players to collect V-Bucks without having to spend real money. As long as they play enough, they can unlock the Battle Pass’s free rewards and earn up to 200 V-Bucks per season. It may not sound like a lot, but within a few seasons, that is enough to purchase a Battle Pass.<\/p>\n

Additionally, to incentivize newer players to give the Battle Pass a try without having to grind for V-Bucks, Epic Games offered bonus V-Bucks to new players who purchased the Chapter 7 Season 1 Starter Pack. Instead of getting 600 V-Bucks for $4.49 like veteran players, they got an exclusive offer where the Starter Pack included 1,000 V-Bucks for the same price. Epic Games recently shared stats from its yearly wrap-up, and it seems that within its first week on the Item Shop, the Kim Kardashian cosmetics broke records with impressive sales numbers. In fact, fans have played more than 37 million matches while rocking Kim Kardashian cosmetics<\/strong>. According to Fortnite.gg, it is the most popular skin in Chapter 7, and even though there are more than 1,000 skins available in Fortnite<\/em>, it has quickly risen to the Top 100 most used skins of all time.<\/p>\n

When the Kim Kardashian cosmetics were announced, some players were skeptical about the socialite being added to the roster of skins available in Fortnite<\/em>, as the two seemingly had no connection. For 1,500 V-Bucks, players can purchase the standard Kim Kardashian skin. However, it doesn’t have as many alternative styles; it only allows gamers to toggle her jacket on and off.<\/p>\n

Epic’s stats have revealed that nearly 100 billion demons were eliminated in the Demon Rush game mode this October. This information makes it possible to conclude that even though Fortnite<\/em> has already collaborated with dozens of brands and celebrities, it is not hindering the popularity of their game at all. It is important for Epic to continue to bring new faces to the game and spark the interest of new players, as well as any returning and veteran players.<\/p>\n
