{"id":21572,"date":"2025-12-20T14:20:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-20T06:20:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=21572"},"modified":"2025-12-20T14:20:35","modified_gmt":"2025-12-20T06:20:35","slug":"man-53-charged-over-dec-19-stabbing-incident-in-tampines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=21572","title":{"rendered":"Man, 53, charged over Dec 19 stabbing incident in Tampines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 A man, who was arrested within six hours of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.straitstimes.com\/singapore\/police-investigating-incident-near-tampines-mrt-station-after-man-found-injured?ref=inline-article\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" class=\"gap-x-04 items-center inline text-primary-60 select-auto\" aria-label=\"link\" target=\"_blank\" data-testid=\"custom-link\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular inline\" data-testid=\"paragraph-test-id\">stabbing incident in Tampines,<\/p>\n<p><\/a> has been charged in court with voluntarily causing hurt with a knife. <\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Mohamed Sufian Mohamed Sabri, 53, was accused in court on Dec 20 of using a knife to stab Mr Mohd Hyril Beins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The victim, whose age was not stated in court documents, sustained knife wounds to his right lower back and left forearm.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The incident happened on Dec 19 at about 5.55pm, near the U-Taste coffee shop in Tampines Central 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">At the time, the area was packed with commuters and shoppers.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Man injured near Tampines MRT station, police investigating\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/n8NmAcxKA_I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
