TikToker Dylan Page, better known as News Daddy<\/em>, wanted to find the cleanest streets in “three of the richest countries in Asia”. And\u00a0he decided to test it out in the most unhinged way.<\/p>\n In his now-viral video, Dylan strolled down Orchard Road in just socks for four minutes to see just how dirty his socks would get.<\/p>\n He repeated the experiment at Tokyo\u2019s famously crowded Shibuya Crossing and a tourist area in Guangzhou.<\/p>\n To be honest, the socks that walked through the Orchard Road shopping belt actually looked cleaner than we expected.<\/p>\n Dylan\u2019s post has since garnered more than 4.8 million views.<\/p>\n Netizens were amused by the oddly specific cleanliness test. Some even took it upon themselves to try the experiment in other parts of the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cDon\u2019t come to Africa, bro. I did the test for you,\u201d a netizen commented, along with a\u00a0photo of a muddy pair of socks.<\/p>\n Others were impressed by the cleanliness of our little red dot.\u00a0\u201cSo Singapore streets are cleaner than my floor,\u201d another quipped.<\/p>\n Not everyone was convinced, though.<\/p>\n One skeptic commented: \u201cI know he switched them out. I just can\u2019t prove it.\u201d<\/p>\n Another pointed out that the comparison might not have been entirely fair, noting that Dylan walked through busy, high-traffic areas in Singapore and Japan, but chose a relatively emptier spot in China.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
