It\u2019s no secret that the JB-Singapore border is highly congested, but the good news is: a new interchange has just opened up that\u2019ll hopefully ease some of the traffic. The RM166.4 million (~$52.27 million SGD) interchange is located about 5km away from the Sultan Abu Bakar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) Complex, offering direct connectivity to the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Expressway. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n Image Credit: UEM Sunrise<\/span><\/p>\n With this new, improved link, travellers will potentially be able to reach the Tuas Checkpoint in Singapore in about 15 minutes. This new interchange opening is part of improvements to the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), aimed at improving the traffic flow and reducing travel times between Singapore and Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
