Some of Hong Kong\u2019s biggest names in classical music are coming together to raise funds for the family of the firefighter who died in the Tai Po fire.<\/p>\n
The concert, titled \u201cSalute to the Brave, Soothing the Soul\u201d and co-organised by the violinist and conductor Leung Kin-fung, will be held on December 22 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in Tsim Sha Tsui.<\/p>\n
All proceeds from sales of the concert tickets, which are priced from HK$100 (US$12.90) to HK$400, will be donated to Ho\u2019s family.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen words fail, music speaks,\u201d said Leung, who is first associate concertmaster of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.<\/p>\n

Hong Kong composer Chan Wing-wah will conduct a 300-strong choir assembled from various local groups belonging to the Hong Kong Association of Choral Societies, including the Hong Kong Police Choir. They will perform a movement from Chan\u2019s piece This Boundless Land<\/em>, accompanied by an ensemble including an erhu<\/span> player from Wang Fuk Court.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
