Skechers <\/b>is no stranger to collaborations with famous franchises, and this time, the shoemaker takes a step into the Mushroom Kingdom. The company has announced a new series of shoes and apparel featuring the world of the Mario Brothers.<\/p>\n
The Super Mario Collection<\/b> re-designs shoes across Skechers\u2019s adult and kids lines, taking cues from the red-hat plumber himself, along with Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad and Bowser. For adults, the star of the collaboration is the Skechers Street Uno Court<\/b>, a sneaker which features the company\u2019s Skech-Air midsole and Air-Cooled Memory Foam insole.\u00a0<\/p>\n The Skechers Street Uno Court is the highlight of the collection, coming in men\u2019s, women\u2019s and unisex sizes.<\/p>\n Image: Skechers.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Other shoe designs include Foamies Surge<\/b> and Max Cushioning Sandals<\/b>, both of which are slip-ons that feature Cali Bits \u2013 Skechers\u2019s answer to Crocs\u2019s Jibbitz charms \u2013 of Mario characters.\u00a0<\/p>\n For the kids, Skechers is offering Mario-fied versions of its Skechers Street Mega-Quake<\/b> (for boys) and Uno Lite<\/b> (for girls) shoe lines. These sneakers also come with character patches on the side. If your child prefers a design that\u2019s even less subtle, though, there\u2019s also the Foamies Swifters<\/b>, which are unisex sandals that feature a sculpted upper with a large graphic of all the collab\u2019s stars on it. <\/p>\n Both the Skechers Street Mega-Quake and Uno Lite feature character patches on the sneaker\u2019s quarter.<\/p>\n Image: Skechers.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n The Foamies Swifters come in red, blue and pink colourways, and has a decal with the collab\u2019s five featured characters on it.<\/p>\n Image: Skechers.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Outside of shoes, Skechers has also included some new apparel in this collection. This ranges from unisex shirts and bottoms for both adults and kids, as well as accessories like a baseball cap, sling bag and crossbody bag, all with their own Mario design motifs. <\/p>\n The most tasteful one, though, would be the polyester woven baseball jacket, featuring a Mario face on the on the left sleeve and a ? Block on the right.
