For many, this year\u2019s festive season will be a sombre affair as Hong Kong continues to process the Tai Po fire tragedy last month.<\/p>\n

However, there is something to be said about spending time with loved ones, and while preparing a meal might be furthest from people\u2019s minds, our city\u2019s restaurants are always there for us.<\/p>\n

Here are places across the city to check out for their festive meals over Christmas and New Year.<\/p>\n

1. The Astor<\/h3>\n

Until December 31, The Astor at the Eaton HK hotel transforms into a Christmas market with its buffet taking centre stage.<\/p>\n

Expect roast turkey, honey-glazed baked ham and beef Wellington with all the trimmings. Desserts include Christmas log cake, a cream puff pyramid and chocolate fondue.<\/p>\n

There is also a station with freshly roasted chestnuts, as well as mulled wine and hot chocolate.<\/p>\n

A Santa\u2019s game booth is available during lunch and dinner. Check The Astor\u2019s website for times and prices.<\/p>\n
