If you have read my previous article on the Odyssey Cup 2025, you would know that I have been playing the Counter-Strike franchise since 2008 with the release of Counter-Strike Online. Even today, I still love unwinding after a long day at work with an intense match of Counter-Strike 2 with my friends. <\/p>\n
So as a long-time Counter-Strike player and avid gamer, I am very excited to share that PGL\u00a0has just announced the second\u00a0Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) Major\u00a0<\/i>of 2026, the\u00a0PGL Singapore Major 2026<\/b>. The competition will take place next year between\u00a025 November to 13 December 2026. <\/p>\nWhat is the PGL Singapore Major 2026? <\/h2>\n
The PGL Singapore Major 2026<\/b> is a historic milestone for the local esports scene, being the first Counter-Strike 2 Major ever held in Southeast Asia. It represents not only PGL\u2019s mission to reach out to new regions but also new page for Counter-Strike in Southeast Asia, and a chance for new and old fans of the game from the region to experience the Major up close.<\/p>\n
Just like other esports competition, the Major will unfold across three competitive stages, where 32 international teams will battle it out for a spot at the Grand Final. The Grand Final will be held on the last four days<\/b> of the event at the Singapore Indoor Stadium<\/b>, where the Major Trophy and a US$1,250,000 prize pool<\/b> will up for grabs.<\/p>\nHow to get tickets?<\/h2>\n
Tickets for the event will go on sale in the coming months, with full details to be announced. Official updates will be posted on the\u00a0official PGL website.<\/p>\n
