Kiko escaped from daycare on Dec.\u202f7, and the Teh family began searching with help from friends. Among them was Delower, a migrant worker who has known the family for about six years. They first met him when he worked on their home renovation and stayed friends afterward. He spent two days looking for the dog with the family. On Dec.\u202f9, he found Kiko in a deep drain along Mar Thoma Road and climbed in to carry the 28\u202fkg chow chow out on his own.
