Pokemon GO<\/strong><\/em> players have a very narrow window of opportunity to snag six shiny Pokemon they may have missed from past events, with a special end-of-year Community Day celebration that runs for just three hours. Pokemon GO<\/em> has featured several of its monsters in Community Day celebrations throughout 2025, and this special event gives the fans one more chance at increaed odds to try to grab them in their shiny forms.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
The Precious Paths season in Pokemon GO<\/em> launched on December 2 and will run through March 6, 2026. The game has already been updated with new research tasks, and plenty of other surprises are in store for players over the course of the next three months, ranging from special event-themed Pokemon and seasonal bonuses to new experiences in Max Raids.<\/p>\n\n

The December Community Days in Pokemon GO<\/em> will each last for only three hours<\/strong>, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time, and they’ll include several of the Pokemon that have been featured in previous Community Day events throughout the year. Like in all Community Day events, these specific Pokemon will see their spawn rates increased by a large margin, and they’ll also each be able to learn a special Featured Attack that was included in their original Community Day launches. For Saturday, December 6, these special Pokemon are Karrablast, Shelmet, Vanillite, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Pawmi.<\/p>\nIn addition to their increased spawn rates, the Community Day event improves the chances of a Pokemon being shiny, giving players who love catching rare variants the same shiny hunting odds as all previous Community Day events in 2025. During regular times, the odds of finding a shiny Pokemon are around 1 in 500, or 0.2 percent. However, Community Days typically bump up those odds in a big way, boosting them to 1 in 25, or 4 percent.<\/p>\n

The special Sunday Community Day Pokemon will also provide a revival of Pokemon GO<\/em>‘s Flabebe Community Day event that took place in September, offering three different color variations of Flabebe based on players’ location in the world. Players on the American continents will be able to collect Yellow Flower Flabebe, while its Blue Flower variant will be limited to the Asia-Pacific Region and the central portion of the globe will get increased odds of seeing Red Flower Flabebe, all of which follows the game’s standard region-locking protocols for that Pokemon. However, players in any region may be able to encounter Flabebe with orange or white flowers, if they’re lucky.<\/p>\n\n

Players will still have a chance to catch any of the above-listed Pokemon from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both days, but their spawn rates and shiny chance in Pokemon GO<\/em> will not be nearly as high as during the special event times. In addition, there are four special Pokemon that will get the same boosted rates and special move chance as the others in the event, but they’ll only be available for a 10-minute window at the end of each day’s event, appearing from 4:50 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. The four Pokemon crammed into that tiny amount of time are Machop, Eevee, Totodile, and Ralts, so anyone desperate for the chance to pick up one of their shiny firms should plan accordingly.<\/p>\n\n
