{"id":17385,"date":"2025-12-06T19:02:46","date_gmt":"2025-12-06T11:02:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=17385"},"modified":"2025-12-06T19:02:46","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T11:02:46","slug":"motorcyclist-25-taken-to-hospital-after-accident-at-woodlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=17385","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist, 25, taken to hospital after accident at Woodlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 <!-- -->A man was taken to hospital while conscious after an accident involving a motorcyclist and a truck on the morning of <!-- -->Dec 6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at Woodlands Centre Road at about <!-- -->8.20am.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">The police and SCDF said that a <!-- -->25-year-old motorcyclist<!-- --> was conscious when taken to <!-- -->Woodlands Health Campus<!-- -->.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Police investigations are ongoing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In a video of the accident shared on the<!-- --> Both Checkpoint Facebook group<!-- -->, a motorcycle is seen lying between two lanes, beside a traffic crossing, with some debris strewn across a stretch of the road nearby.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A man wearing a motorcycle helmet is lying on the pavement nearby, while another man is seen attending to him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">A man in a yellow top bearing the letters KKL is seen using a mobile phone at the junction, just metres from a truck with the same logo. The truck appears to have been making a right turn, but is now stationary in the middle of the junction as other vehicles make their way past it.  <\/p>\n<p>Checks by The Straits Times show the livery KKL belongs to <!-- -->Koh Kock Leong Enterprise<!-- -->.
