A motorcyclist who chose to use his voice instead of his horn at a group of jaywalkers at a pedestrian crossing has amused netizens.<\/p>\n
TikToker @convaxxx posted the 11-second point-of-view (POV) video, where he approaches a traffic crossing at Pasir Ris on Dec 3 with the lights in his favour.<\/p>\n
As several pedestrians attempt to cross the road, he shouts: “Oi! Oi! Oi!”, and they retreat, staring in shock as he rides past them.<\/p>\n
At press time, the video \u2013 subtitled “im [sic] a nice guy ive [sic] never used the horn” \u2013 had garnered 168,300 views, 12,800 reactions and 115 comments.<\/p>\n
Netizens were tickled by his method of alerting pedestrians. “You don’t need to use the horn… You ARE the horn,” said one.<\/p>\n
“Loud mouth save [sic] lives,” said another.<\/p>\n
“They all got confused,” said a commenter. “They be [sic] looking at u [sic] like they did ntg [sic] wrong,” another said, while several netizens were tickled by the expressions on the pedestrians’ faces as the camera passed them.<\/p>\n
Other netizens chimed in that they also preferred yelling to horning.<\/p>\n
“SAMESSSS [sic]\u2026 I WAS DRIVING AND SHOUTED BUT THEY DIDNT [sic] HEAR,” lamented a commenter.<\/p>\n
One user pointed out how the motorcyclist’s shouting could be used: “Hahahahahahahahahaa that would make a wonderful ringtone hahahahaha.”<\/p>\n
