abruptly cancelled three screenings of Japanese films for its upcoming film programme.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The decision was announced on December 3, three days before \u201cFood for Thought \u2013 a Cinematic Feast\u201d was slated to begin.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\"><em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Kamome Diner<\/em> (2006), previously scheduled for December 6 and January 3, follows a woman working in a quiet cafe who eventually forms an unexpected family with two other solitary women.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\"><em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Tampopo<\/em> (1985), a cult comedy by director Juzo Itami that was initially scheduled for December 28 and January 11, depicts a truck driver who trains a widowed noodle shop owner in the rigorous art of making the perfect bowl of ramen.<\/p>\n<div datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1xdhyk6 ec74h0k0\">Also cancelled is Naomi Kawase\u2019s <span data-qa=\"Component-Text\" class=\"css-0 ef9u0v00\"><em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">An<\/em><\/span> (2015), known internationally as <em data-qa=\"ContentSchemaRender-defaultRenderMapFunctions-Component\" class=\"css-1mniedq ex3nmsa15\">Sweet Bean<\/em>, which was originally planned as a free screening on January 18.<\/div>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Screenings of other \u201cFood for Thought\u201d films from other corners of the world, including India, France,
