{"id":16347,"date":"2025-12-03T08:07:49","date_gmt":"2025-12-03T00:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=16347"},"modified":"2025-12-03T08:07:49","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T00:07:49","slug":"apple-tap-to-pay-now-available-on-iphones-in-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgbuzz.com\/?p=16347","title":{"rendered":"Apple Tap to Pay now available on iPhones in Singapore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">SINGAPORE \u2013 Apple has announced that Tap to Pay on iPhone is now available in Singapore, allowing merchants to use the iPhone as a contactless payment terminal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">In a statement on Dec 2, Apple said that the new function comes in collaboration with payment platforms, app developers, and payment networks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Businesses of any size will be able to accept quick payments from contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets using only their iPhone and a partner-enabled iOS app, it said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">\u201cWith Tap to Pay on iPhone, merchants can accept contactless payments through a supporting iOS app on an iPhone Xs or later running the latest iOS version,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-body-baseline-regular text-primary\" data-testid=\"article-paragraph-annotation-test-id\">Payment platforms Adyen, Fiuu, HitPay, Revolut, Stripe, and Zoho are the first to offer Tap to Pay on iPhone.
