A resident has been hanging a bamboo pole out of her bedroom window in Woodlands despite being served three notices and a service card by the town council.<\/p>\n

Stomper Irene <\/b><\/span>said the situation at Block 683A Woodlands Drive 62 has been happening for “many months”.<\/p>\n

She shared photos of the “three-inch-long” bamboo pole \u2013 which had laundry hung on it \u2013 poking out from the seventh-floor bedroom window on multiple days in November.<\/p>\n

Irene told Stomp: “I understand if it’s hangers, but bamboo poles are really dangerous and I don’t think you are allowed to hang them out of HDB bedrooms. This is not a kitchen.”<\/p>\n

The Stomper noted that the path below is heavily used by pedestrians to reach the MRT station.<\/p>\n
